good one. although i think that no one can solve our problems overnight. this took time and it will take time to dig ourselves out.
That depends on whether you believe the mess is worse NOW or BEFORE. I for one believe the mess is worse NOW.
The government is an easy target. Will Rogers was great at poking fun at Congress. But this one-liner from Jay Leno is priceless.

no. 2 i disagree. i believe we were worse off before but i am taking other things into consideration beyond the economy, like consumer protections and general cowtowing to polluters and big business. i hate the dems social agenda but i don’t like the fact that pubs seem to not care if regular people rot. since there are no longer enough moderates to make any impact i see nothing but gridlock and revenge in the future rather than working for the general good.
What if those two groups are mostly the same people?
